We decided to bring the pups to the beach one last time, and with avoiding dunking my camera in a wave I got as close as I could.

A Blue Button Jellyfish I saved when we realized it was still alive.

It has been a really relaxing trip and I’ve taken so many photos. It was rejuvenating to the rut I felt I was in. There is only one full day left Also, I feel very much like my horizontal images in this post are distorted..

2nd post in less then 12 hours. But I went on a bit of a beach walking exploration this morning. I still have much to observe but I got a few nice shots for 7am.

I guess you can say I’ve been up to the same amount of laziness today as I was yesterday. We did, however, have a black widow on our property which has me a little anxious before falling asleep. I do not fear spiders but I’d like to prevent having to go to the emergency room because I’ve been bitten by one. Not to mention my poor little puppies!!!! I do hope we avoid any more encounters.

Day 1. We arrived yesterday afternoon but after a brief swim in the pool I was dead to the world til this morning. Suffice to say I haven’t had much time to explore with my camera(though I do have til Sunday to do so). Today consisted of wandering around the house & taking the pups to the beach in dim sunset.

Maybe I’m just creatively stunted while at my parents house but I always end up doing self portraits there. I need to make my room more aesthetically appealing and explore the surrounding areas a bit more. t- 1 week until obx. I am very excited for the change of scenery.

Those who escape hell, however, never talk about it and nothing much bothers them after that.

I cannot wait to start my new series. The title has yet to come to me…but then again, the photos haven’t either. When I get an idea in my mind I obsess over it, dream over it, and become quite frustrated with everything I have to do that isn’t absorbed in the thought. I’ve been trying to shoot daily but I feel so underwhelmed with my work. Perhaps this has something to do with the rush behind my shooting as I am usually on my way to work. I don’t know but it needs to stop for it is less then thrilling.
